Conversion and Conservation of Cambo Stables and Walled Gardens
Guest speaker: Robin Evetts
We would be delighted to welcome you to our second Autumn Talk.
Robin will give an introduction to the history and development of Cambo and its policies, before discussing the design and evolution of the Georgian stables and their recent conservation and conversion to a visitor centre. He will also refer to the current scheme of works to re-point large areas of the garden walls, a project which has prompted this summer’s Festival of Stone at Cambo.
The St Andrews Preservation Trust is delighted to announce the third series of our Autumn Talks. These have been a great addition to our Winter Talks series that have been running since 2021. We welcome speakers from across St Andrews, Dundee and Fife to share their work or pieces of research. In five years we have grown from smaller audiences of members to audience of 70+ members of the Trust and the local community.
Tuesday 15th September 2026, 2.30pm at the St Andrews Bowling Club.
